Vietnam Ocean Shipping Joint Stock Company (VOSCO) commenced operations on 1st January 2008, based on the foundations laid by Vietnam Ocean Shipping Company, which itself was established on 1st July 1970.
Since its founding in 1970, Vosco has made great efforts to continuously develop and improve its fleet. Vosco currently has a diverse fleet of modern ships comprising general cargo, bulk carriers, product tankers and container vessels trading worldwide.
Shipping is our corebusiness. Aside from being shipowners, ship managers and ship operators, we are engaged in the chartering, sale & purchase and related servicesthrought subsidied companies/branch office such as Agency, freight forwarding & logistic; ship repair service; supplying lubs-oil and store; supply seafarers... as well as shipping cooperation & joint ventures.
Vosco has efficiently established, implemented, maintained and operated the Safety, Quality and Environment management system (SQEMS) which has been developed and continuously improved in accordance with regulations and standard of International Safety Management Code (ISM Code), ISO 9001:2008 and Maritime Labour Convention.
